Staff Accountant

About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team in Medellín. The role is hybrid and full‑time, supporting reconciliations, accounts payable processes and month‑end close activities.
Key responsibilities
- Perform bank, accounts payable, prepaid and fixed‑asset reconciliations.
- Prepare journal entries and assist with the month‑end close.
- Analyze and resolve unmatched transactions.
- Reconcile AP aging, identify discrepancies and support accruals and prepaid expense tracking.
- Work with NetSuite and Coupa to ensure accurate financial data.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in general ledger, accounts payable or reconciliations.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and month‑end close processes.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Required skills
- NetSuite (required).
- Coupa (preferred).
- Advanced Excel for data analysis.
