Technical Consultant (Hybrid) - Oil & Gas Software

About the role

Quorum Software, a provider of digital technology for business workflows in the oil and gas sector, is looking for a Technical Consultant to join its Professional Services team. The consultant helps implement Quorum's proprietary software for energy companies in North America, working in a hybrid schedule in Bogota, Colombia. Only resumes submitted in English will be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical services to customers: design, configuration, deployment and issue resolution for application installations, environment management, data conversion, reporting and integration.
• Master technical skills such as SQL, Azure DevOps Pipelines, C# troubleshooting, report building and in-house Quorum tools.
• Learn Quorum's architecture and software development lifecycle, and take full ownership of assigned work, including quality, timeliness and documentation.
• Take part in the design, configuration, development and testing of software implementation and upgrade projects.
• Work with customer IT and business users to gather specifications, install updates, manage application security, train IT staff and resolve issues.
• Represent Quorum positively in customer conversations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technology, engineering, business or another analytical discipline.
• Strong database skills (SQL) and a basic understanding of software development.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, written and verbal communication skills, and a strong desire for continuous learning.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% during the week.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Employment eligibility in Colombia; the company does not sponsor visas, and candidates must maintain their own permits. Background checks, onboarding medical and professional registration (if the role is regulated) are also required.
