Technical Consultant – Microsoft Cloud & AI Solutions

About the role

The Technology Consultant works closely with customers, partners and internal teams to translate business, technical and security requirements into Microsoft Cloud and AI solutions. The role supports both pre‑sales and delivery phases, shaping proposals, statements of work and guiding adoption of Azure AI, Copilot agents and data modernization services.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with pre‑sales stakeholders to understand customer needs and provide industry and technical input that shapes the deal.
• Map requirements to Microsoft Cloud and AI offerings, focusing on Azure AI, Copilot agents, application development and data modernization.
• Contribute to proposals, SOWs, solution architectures, staffing plans and delivery estimates with reusable technical guidance.
• Identify technical and business risks, propose mitigations and communicate trade‑offs and dependencies to customers and internal teams.
• Articulate business value of solutions, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Lead technical workshops and customer conversations covering architecture, implementation, security and expected outcomes.
• Promote intellectual‑property reuse by leveraging, adapting or creating repeatable content and providing feedback to improve industry solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience in a relevant business area.
• Active Azure AI certification (e.g., AI‑900, AI‑102) or equivalent.
• Professional proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Azure AI services and certifications (AI‑900, AI‑102).
• Development of Copilot agents using low‑code (Copilot Studio) and pro‑code approaches.
• Microsoft Fabric and Azure data & analytics services.
• Azure AI Search, GitHub Copilot and related developer productivity tools.
• Experience with Azure APIs and custom application development.
