Technical Project Manager - MDM Platform Implementations

About the role

SD Solutions, a global staffing company, is recruiting a Technical Project Manager on behalf of a DataTech client. You will lead client implementations of a Master Data Management (MDM) platform that runs inside each client's own Databricks workspace and cloud environment, owning delivery from kickoff to go-live. Because the platform is deployed in the client's environment, clear communication with client teams is as important as technical fluency.

Key responsibilities

• Run two to three concurrent product implementations end to end: scope, plan, schedule, budget and go-live, breaking work into streams such as environment setup, source system onboarding, match tuning, data steward enablement and production cutover.
• Track milestones, dependencies and resourcing, manage scope and change requests, and coordinate client work such as Databricks access, Unity Catalog permissions and cloud infrastructure.
• Act as day-to-day contact for client sponsors, data owners, platform administrators and data stewards; facilitate decisions on match rules and steward workflows; lead steering committee meetings and executive readouts.
• Support client security reviews and due diligence, ensure team members follow access and confidentiality requirements, and route security incidents to the right owners.
• Coordinate a delivery team of data engineers and consultants without direct reporting authority, run sprint ceremonies and stand-ups, and capture lessons learned.

Required profile

• 4 to 7 years of project management experience, including at least 3 years managing client-facing technical or data projects.
• Track record of delivering data platform, data integration, analytics or enterprise software implementations on time and within budget.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and verbal English, with examples of client-facing reports, presentations or executive updates.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake or similar) and at least one major cloud provider (AWS or Azure).
• Understanding of data quality, data governance, role-based access control and handling of personal data (PII).
• Agile and Waterfall delivery, and project tooling such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet or MS Project.
• Preferred: MDM, entity resolution or customer 360 experience; hands-on Databricks Unity Catalog, Delta Lake or Databricks workflows; security review and SOC 2 exposure; PMP, PMI-ACP or CSM certification; consulting or systems integrator background.
