Technical Support Engineer – Payments

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Technical Customer Support Specialist to join our Payments team. You will be the primary point of contact for internal teams and clients, delivering timely solutions to technical issues and driving customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide second‑level analysis, investigation and resolution for card/transaction processing, POS, ATM and fraud related service requests.
• Resolve technical issues across transaction processing, including chargebacks, 3DS and other payment systems while following incident management procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Care, Tech, Product) and third‑party providers to address root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Analyse card/transaction data using internal tools (SC, EHI, WS, Jira) and external tools (Postman, ELK, Soap) and present data‑driven insights.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency (B2 or higher) and proven experience in technical customer support within payments, transaction processing or banking.
• Deep understanding of card, POS and ATM systems, fraud prevention (3DS), chargebacks and payment gateways.
• Experience working in fast‑paced environments where quick issue resolution is critical.
