Technical Support Specialist (Remote, Colombia)

About the role

Porch Group is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide live assistance to customers using its SaaS solutions for the property inspection industry. This remote, work‑from‑home position serves users across North America, Australia, New Zealand, the UK and other regions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver real‑time support via phone, chat, and email, troubleshooting issues with desktop applications.
• Guide customers step‑by‑step to resolve problems on Windows and macOS platforms.
• Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and follow up on complex cases.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong conflict‑management skills.
• Self‑starter able to work independently in a quiet home office with a reliable internet connection.

Required skills

• Windows desktop troubleshooting.
• macOS desktop troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs).
• Typing speed of 50+ words per minute.
