Territory/Domain Field Sales Rep 2

About the role

Johnson Controls, a global leader in thermal management, building systems, energy efficiency and decarbonization, is hiring a Territory/Domain Field Sales Rep 2 in Bogotá, Colombia (pay grade 170). The role grows business across the assigned territory by building customer relationships, developing opportunities and supporting the full sales process with strong follow-through.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the product and service line and customer needs through training and research.
• Obtain referrals and work with Centers of Influence to generate and expand business opportunities.
• Develop, qualify and close sales opportunities using a structured, customer-focused approach.
• Process work orders and complete paperwork according to approved procedures.
• Conduct post-installation follow-up to confirm commitments and reinforce customer satisfaction.
• Present solutions clearly to customer stakeholders and senior executives.
• Manage territory activity with timely follow-up, accurate records and consistent communication.

Required profile

• High school degree or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills, including presenting to senior executives.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule and availability for local travel.
• Nice to have: at least 2 years of experience as a commercial sales representative in security, IT or another technology sales industry, and a consistent ability to meet and exceed quota.
