Trade Marketing Analyst - Category Management

About the role

Mondelēz International's Latin America unit (Wacam) is hiring a Trade Marketing Analyst in Bogotá. The role provides strategic and operational support to the regional Trade Marketing team on commercial building blocks, point-of-sale activation and performance visibility, acting as the link between Customer Business Teams and the Category Innovation, Marketing and Equity teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run selling programs covering innovation, distribution, merchandising and promotion for the assigned category
• Build category and customer plans with Category teams, Insights and Customer Business Teams, and act as the internal category expert
• Lead category dashboards and fundamentals, recommend corrective actions and assess volume opportunities and risks
• Provide thought leadership on brand and category initiatives, including promotional strategy and budget planning
• Support regional trade marketing planning, execution and analysis, aligning countries and tracking performance
• Consolidate innovation KPIs across channels and build country performance dashboards with Sales Controlling
• Run activation meetings, benchmark countries and lead the end-to-end packaging process from production to dispatch
• Follow up on displays and fixtures in retail, prepare executive presentations and maintain country milestone schedules

Required profile

• 2 to 3 years of experience in mass consumption companies in trade marketing, commercial areas, planning or commercial/business analysis
• Proven experience in the FMCG field is a distinct advantage
• Intermediate English and management of Central American countries are a plus
• Critical thinking, organization, clear communication and teamwork
