Transaction Services Analyst (Account Maintenance)

About the role

As a Transaction Services Analyst you will maintain and process account and portfolio records across multiple countries for Citi's Treasury and Trade Services function, handling daily account maintenance activities and supporting a range of banking products.

Key responsibilities

• Execute account maintenance tasks such as activations, status changes, and field adjustments on client accounts.
• Open and amend Letters of Credit, process payments, and resolve customer issues.
• Create and maintain reporting on overdraft lines and other account‑related data points.
• Set up basic records and portfolios within internal systems for multiple countries.
• Analyze incoming data to determine appropriate actions and suggest process improvements.
• Respond to internal teams, external clients, and vendors promptly, and escalate control issues as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Working proficiency in Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite for reporting and data analysis.
• Intermediate English proficiency for written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of banking products such as Treasury and Trade Services, Securities, Cash, Trade, Lockbox, Derivatives, Fund Services, Foreign Exchange, or Letters of Credit.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
