Transportation Business Lead

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Transportation Business Lead to oversee North America transport lanes from its Bogotá hub. The role ensures consistent product availability, high customer experience, and alignment with quality standards across domestic and international freight movements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage door‑to‑door operational management for North America transport lanes, guaranteeing product availability and superior customer experience.
• Coordinate track & trace activities and handle exception management for transportation segments.
• Lead the development and execution of transport risk mitigation plans.
• Present performance metrics, project charters, and updates to various management levels.
• Facilitate operational management meetings, reporting on vendor performance and driving continuous improvement.
• Maintain day‑to‑day tactical relationships with transport vendors.
• Partner with distribution centers and manufacturing facilities to coordinate freight on both domestic and international lanes.
• Collaborate with J&J Deliver Quality to ensure transport operations comply with the appropriate quality framework.
• Act as the primary point of contact for sites and logistics providers to resolve shipment issues, including missing documentation, freight delays, quality events, and receiving delays.
