US Field Inventory Manager

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a US Field Inventory Manager to lead a team of Associate Analysts responsible for order fulfillment, field inventory movement, and inventory‑related activities that ensure product availability for customers and field support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing US Field Inventory team, managing workload, prioritisation and performance.
• Drive inventory optimisation, order fulfilment, product launches and field corrective actions across the US.
• Monitor system and operational performance, oversee field cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Collaborate with warehouse operations, order management, customer‑facing teams and other internal stakeholders.
• Develop and implement standard work, process improvements and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of experience in inventory management, supply chain or related operational functions.
• Three years of experience leading teams or managing people.
• Strong analytical problem‑solving, business judgement and ability to influence in a matrixed environment.

Required skills

• Fluent English.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Access or Business Objects.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP, Lean Sigma, DMAIC or other continuous‑improvement methodologies.
