Virtual Interior Designer for High-End Short-Term Rentals

About the role

A fast‑growing U.S. interior design firm specializing in high‑end short‑term rental properties is looking for a Virtual Interior Designer. You will create visually striking, photography‑ready interiors that boost market appeal and guest experience, working remotely from LATAM.

Key responsibilities

• Design compelling interiors for short‑term rentals, balancing luxury aesthetics with functional everyday use.
• Produce complete design packages: mood boards, concept presentations, Pinterest‑style inspiration boards, floor plans, and 2D renderings.
• Work from architectural plans, Matterport scans, or existing layouts to deliver cohesive designs across entire properties.
• Collaborate closely with leadership, incorporate feedback, and maintain strong design integrity.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional interior design experience, preferably with short‑term rentals, hospitality, boutique hotels or vacation properties.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating bold color palettes, high‑contrast styling, layered textures, and statement furniture.
• Highly detail‑oriented, organized, self‑motivated and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with professional interior design tools such as DesignFiles (or similar platforms).
• Experience using rendering software, floor‑planning software, and visual presentation/mood‑board tools.
