About the role
The Warehouse Assistant supports the smooth flow of goods by handling incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing items for dispatch and maintaining accurate records.
Key responsibilities
- Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Prepare items for shipment, including assembling, addressing, stamping and shipping merchandise.
- Receive, unpack, verify and record incoming merchandise or material.
- Arrange transportation of products.
- Prepare routine letters, memoranda and reports using standard office software.
- Maintain files and records and perform basic data entry and verification tasks.
Required profile
- Secondary / Intermediate education (minimum 5 GCSE).
- Basic experience with simple office or operational systems.
- Ability to work under guidance, using standard office equipment and software.
- Clear verbal communication skills.
- Capability to analyze data trends and perform basic mathematical operations with guidance.
- Elementary planning, organizing and prioritizing skills to meet business objectives.
