Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Colgate-Palmolive is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor in Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, to manage daily Distribution Center operations and guarantee uninterrupted supply chain continuity, flawless customer dispatches and sales fulfillment. The role covers warehouse capacity, labor productivity, inventory accuracy, operating budget controls and people leadership, including relations with unionized personnel and employee committees.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily warehouse execution and shift handovers, optimizing WMS slotting, stock rotation and order picking/staging for on-time dispatches.
• Lead, coach and schedule shift teams (including weekends and holidays, overtime, attendance and vacations), resolve shop-floor conflicts and work with union representatives and worker committees.
• Oversee cycle counts, annual Wall-to-Wall inventories and root-cause variance analysis, and manage blocked, restricted or obsolete stock.
• Track KPIs such as Tons/Man-Hour and Cases/Man-Hour, and manage warehouse OpEx and labor costs.
• Monitor warehouse occupancy and design contingency plans for overcapacity, seasonal peaks and equipment bottlenecks.
• Promote safety through daily safety talks, near-miss reporting and compliance with EHS, quality and FP&R standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of leadership experience managing high-volume warehouse operations or distribution centers (CPG/FMCG, retail or manufacturing preferred).
• Experience leading large teams and working in union environments.
• Intermediate to advanced English, able to present to senior leaders.

• WMS and ERP systems, specifically SAP (WM/EWM/SD/MM modules)
• Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs) and data analytics tools
• Cycle counts, Wall-to-Wall inventories, Lean Warehousing, 5S, Kaizen and root-cause problem solving
• OpEx budget control and labor cost tracking
