About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Middle School Science Teacher to join our bilingual institution in Valledupar. This full-time, on-site position involves delivering engaging science lessons to students in grades 6‑8 and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement age‑appropriate, interactive science lesson plans.
• Deliver instruction in both English and Spanish, ensuring comprehension and participation.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop and refine the science curriculum aligned with educational standards.
• Promote an inclusive classroom that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or a related field; teaching certification is a plus.
• Previous experience teaching middle‑school science preferred.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; bilingual ability is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and staff.
