Accounting Analyst

About the role

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join its Finance team in Bogota. The role focuses on accurate journal entry processing, multi‑currency reconciliation, and supporting audit activities while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries with a focus on accuracy.
• Produce corporate finance reports, including house orders, ITR, and variance analysis.
• Analyze general ledger accounts to identify discrepancies and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate intercompany processes, resolve cross‑location discrepancies, and manage multi‑currency reconciliations.
• Support financial statement audits by preparing schedules and analyses.
• Handle tax liquidation, VAT, WHT, and monthly tax reconciliation.
• Perform daily cash, bank, and cash‑flow reconciliations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in a Big 4 environment or international setting is a plus.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and strong analytical/reporting abilities.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
