Full-Time Markets Sales & Trading Analyst – Bogotá

About the role

Citi's Markets Analyst Program is a competitive full‑time analyst position in the Sales and Trading division, based in Bogotá, Colombia. The program provides intensive training, mentorship from senior professionals and exposure to financing solutions, trading activities and a broad range of market products for corporations, governments and institutional investors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in providing financing solutions and trading services to leading corporate and institutional clients.
• Conduct in‑depth research on global markets, analyze financial statements, risk assessments and data reports.
• Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors across the globe.
• Collaborate with product teams to support the execution of a wide variety of market transactions.

Required profile

• Graduating with a bachelor's degree by March 2027 or a recent graduate (within two years).
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑starter who thrives both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Commitment to integrity, ethical decision‑making and personal growth.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, lookups, basic modeling).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Exposure to programming languages such as VAB and Python (beneficial).
• Foundational understanding of financial markets, asset classes and current market trends.
