Amazon Connect Senior Consultant (COL)

About the role

Slalom's Enterprise Capability builds intelligent, human-centered business applications with partners such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Adobe and Workday. Its Amazon Connect experts help clients transform contact centers through digital technologies, from contact center migrations to Agentic AI. This role seeks a passionate Amazon Connect Consultant or Senior Consultant to lead implementations and act as a trusted advisor to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of contact center services using Amazon Connect and related AWS services.
• Collaborate with clients and teammates to define technical designs for project delivery and pre-sales solutioning.
• Act as a People Leader: complete annual reviews, give recurring feedback and coach direct reports.
• Support recruiting by networking, interviewing candidates and representing Slalom at industry events.
• Provide Amazon Connect expertise to sales, project and customer teams, and support proposal development and case studies.
• Build custom components or configure Amazon Connect, test work products and prepare technical documentation such as architecture and workflow diagrams.
• Use DevOps tooling including infrastructure as code, and take part in deployment, cutover and post-go-live support.
• Work with designers, developers, architects, project managers and business stakeholders to meet timelines and quality.

Required profile

• Experience designing, implementing or supporting contact center solutions, including hands-on Amazon Connect work.
• 3+ years of consulting experience, or equivalent stakeholder-facing experience.
• Experience enabling, coaching and supporting team members.
• Familiarity with generative AI concepts, especially for contact centers.
• Active AWS certification or ability to obtain one after hiring; Colombian engineering roles require a COPNIA license.

Required skills

• Amazon Connect and AWS services such as Lex, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB and CloudFormation.
• Programming/scripting such as Python or Node.js.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Clear communication of technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Working arrangement: hybrid, with at least one day per week in the office (two days per week for team members with direct reports or not on a client engagement).
