Analyst, Software Test Engineering

About the role

Visa is looking for a Software Test Engineering Analyst to apply and maintain quality standards for Visa products. The role involves executing test plans, analyzing results, and ensuring product reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Execute test strategy, solution validation, and delivery activities across multiple projects.
• Drive troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and implement preventative measures for technical and operational issues.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to assess requirements, identify risks, and recommend testing approaches.
• Support expansion of test automation, self‑service capabilities, and process improvements.

Required profile

• Experience in payments, financial services, technology consulting, or client‑facing technical roles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with a focus on client issue resolution.
• Ability to provide technical consultancy to stakeholders at standard‑ to mid‑level technical expertise.

Required skills

• Working with APIs, web services, system integrations and networking concepts.
• Experience with modern digital platforms and test automation.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies such as generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot).
