Associate Manager - HRBP

About the role

Sutherland, a digital engineering and technology services firm working with global brands, is hiring an Associate HR Manager (HRBP) in Bogotá. The Associate HR Manager shapes workplace culture, advises employees on HR policies, resolves employee relations issues and supports the HR practice.

Key responsibilities

• Present and model HR philosophy and policies, and interpret them for employees
• Resolve employee relations issues promptly through coaching and counseling, and handle issues related to adherence to company policies and procedures
• Help plan, prepare, host and administer regular employee orientations
• Assist in documenting personnel actions and providing information to payroll
• Identify process improvements and lead or take part in HR process optimization projects

Required profile

• 3-4 years of experience in HR functional areas such as HR Business Partnering, recruitment, HR shared services, labor compliance, labor relations, occupational health and safety, compensation and benefits, talent development or payroll
• Advanced English proficiency
• Proven ability to give HR consulting and partner with operational and senior stakeholders
• Strong relationship management, negotiation and communication skills, able to guide and influence operational leaders
• High emotional intelligence, sound judgment and the ability to manage diverse stakeholder styles in a fast-paced environment
