Recruiter (Level 2) – US Recruitment Support

About the role

Sutherland is looking for a Recruiter (Level 2) in Bogotá to support US recruitment delivery. The role is hands-on and operational, with higher independence than Level 1, covering candidate sourcing support, screening coordination, recruitment workflow execution and compliance-focused process management. You will partner with recruiters and leads to keep candidate pipelines moving smoothly across multiple requisitions.

Key responsibilities

• Support active requisitions by maintaining candidate pipelines and keeping recruitment stages on schedule
• Coordinate interview stages from scheduling through feedback closure and flag urgent or aging cases
• Manage candidate movement in Workday or ATS systems, review resumes against role criteria and location, and keep candidate follow-ups timely
• Verify pre-employment documents, track background checks and compliance steps, and coordinate with background check partners
• Support the offer-to-onboarding handoff, answer candidate queries about joining steps and track onboarding readiness
• Maintain daily and weekly recruitment reports, candidate trackers and dashboards, and suggest process improvements

Required profile

• 1-3 years of experience in US recruitment operations, talent acquisition support, HR shared services or hiring coordination
• Availability to work U.S. business hours and follow the U.S. holiday calendar
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred
• Strong written and verbal English and Spanish

Required skills

• Hands-on knowledge of Workday and ATS platforms
• Excel-based trackers and Outlook/calendar coordination
• Understanding of recruitment stages, documentation control and compliance tracking
