Attorney Legal Intake Specialist

About the role

The Legal Intake Specialist for Personal Injury will manage inbound client inquiries, screen potential cases, and maintain efficient intake workflows for a fast‑growing legal services company. This remote, full‑time position supports U.S. personal injury firms and offers long‑term career growth.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls, web forms, chats, and SMS from potential clients and make prompt outbound callbacks.
• Conduct structured intake interviews in English or Spanish covering accident details, injuries, medical treatment, insurance, lost wages, and liability.
• Screen cases against criteria such as jurisdiction, statute of limitations, existing representation, and case type.
• Enter accurate notes into the CRM or case management system in real time and manage e‑signatures, HIPAA authorizations, and intake documents.
• Schedule consultations, hand off qualified cases to attorneys, and follow up persistently with unresponsive leads.
• Maintain compliance with TCPA requirements, avoid giving legal advice, and protect sensitive information.

Required profile

• Law degree with 3‑5 years of legal intake experience, preferably supporting U.S. personal injury firms.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher) and ability to communicate empathetically with distressed callers.
• Strong written English skills for detailed case notes.
• Reliable high‑speed internet, quiet home office, and backup power/connectivity plan.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with legal CRM or intake platforms and e‑signature tools.
• Familiarity with Lead Docket, Litify, Filevine, CASEpeer, Clio Grow, Salesforce, DocuSign, or RingCentral.
• Knowledge of personal injury case types and terminology (liability, damages, PIP, statute of limitations).
