AutoCAD Detailer – Geotechnical

About the role

DYWIDAG, a global leader in construction and infrastructure technology, is looking for an English-speaking Detailer. The role covers creating AutoCAD drawings, engineering and shop drawings for the Geotechnical Business, including soil anchors, bolts, plates and retaining wall systems. It suits a proactive, quick learner who can deliver innovative solutions promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Create AutoCAD drawings, engineering and shop drawings independently for the Geotechnical Business
• Ensure drawings align with client project requirements and meet company quality standards
• Handle design changes needed for the drawings
• Suggest the right product configuration for the Geotechnical Business Unit
• Use spreadsheets to calculate and complement product design
• Interpret construction and industrial drawings
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required profile

• Associate degree or Professional Detailer degree
• At least 3 years of detailing experience in construction, steel or mechanical industries
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, site plans and elevations, as well as civil, structural and architectural drawings
• Fluency in English
• Ability to handle a large volume of ongoing projects and orders
• Team player who meets deadlines and values colleagues' input

Required skills

• Advanced AutoCAD skills; SolidWorks, 3-D or Revit experience is a bonus
• MS Office: Word, Excel (expert level preferred), Access, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
