AWS Engineer - Remote Infrastructure

About the role

BairesDev is looking for an AWS Engineer to join its infrastructure team and take part in projects built by multicultural teams spread across the world. You will manage and support the entire project infrastructure hosted in the cloud, working 100% remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure high service availability, performance, security and maintainability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments.
• Automate tools to reduce repetitive work through scripting.
• Monitor and improve infrastructure security.
• Troubleshoot issues ranging from software and hardware to cloud resources.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for existing and new processes and policies.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as an AWS cloud infrastructure engineer.
• 5+ years of experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes as an SRE engineer or similar.
• AWS Solutions Architect certification.
• Experience migrating applications to the cloud.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of DevOps tools such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet.
• Desirable: previous experience with Ansible and IaC (e.g. Terraform).
• Desirable: experience with the ELK stack, Datadog or similar.
