Barista

About the role

Four Seasons Cartagena is looking for a barista to join its food and beverage service team. You will prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks in line with the hotel's concept, while welcoming guests and anticipating their needs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee drinks to a high standard, in line with the establishment's concept.
• Take care of guests and customers, anticipating their needs and solving problems proactively.
• Know the food and beverage menus, ingredients, preparation methods, allergens and preparation times.

Required profile

• Training as a barista or in coffee preparation techniques.
• At least 2 years of experience as a barista and handling cash registers in hotels or high-end restaurants.

Required skills

• Coffee extraction methods such as V60, Chemex, French press and siphon.
• Knowledge of coffee flavour profiles and preparation techniques, able to explain them to guests.
