Bilingual Remote Customer Support Specialist

About the role

A firm representing a global e-commerce organization is hiring a permanent, full-time bilingual client support specialist to work remotely from Colombia. The role serves U.S.-based customers by phone, chat and email, resolving questions about orders, shipping, products and billing with empathy and without a rigid script.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for customers by telephone, chat and email.
• Resolve inquiries about orders, shipping, product details and billing.
• Use internal tools to research solutions and give feedback to improve the customer experience.
• Work flexible shifts covering days, late evenings, weekends and holidays, typically between 6 am and 11 pm, seven days a week.

Required profile

• Fluent English and Spanish, with English at 85% or higher.
• At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in Colombia.
• Quiet, private home office with a desk and chair.
• Hard-wired internet of at least 10 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload; WiFi is not allowed.

Required skills

• Strong technical aptitude and ability to navigate multiple computer systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Quick adaptation to new processes and software, attention to detail and multitasking under pressure.
