Case Manager - US Personal Injury Cases

About the role

Emapta is hiring a Case Manager in Bogotá, Colombia, to support US personal injury clients with medical treatment, case documentation and legal processes. The position is a day-shift, weekend-off, onsite role on Calle 98, with an indefinite-term type contract. The client is a US law firm specializing in personal injury, property insurance litigation, hurricane damage claims, medical malpractice and insurance claim disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Make welcome calls with clients to start their case and set clear communication
• Follow up regularly with clients to track medical treatment progress and gather case updates
• Request medical records and billing documents from healthcare providers
• Maintain Personal Injury Protection (PIP) logs and keep case documentation complete and accurate
• Record and update client information and case details in the case management system (CMS)
• Review medical records and case details to assess case readiness for the demand stage
• Prepare and organize complete case files for timely demand preparation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
• At least 3 years of case management experience
• At least 2-3 years in personal injury law or related legal fields
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and handle multiple legal processes
