Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

The CFO will act as a strategic partner to the CEO, shaping financial strategy, capital allocation, and operational finance for a fast‑growing energy technology company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis, providing visibility into margins, unit economics and ROI.
• Own cash flow, treasury, working‑capital and liquidity planning, managing bank and investor relationships and leading debt/equity financing.
• Oversee accounting, reporting, tax, audits and internal controls while building scalable billing, collections and payment processes.
• Prepare board materials, maintain investor relations and support fundraising readiness.
• Build and develop a finance team, establishing clear ownership, performance expectations and automation across finance functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance or senior finance leader with full ownership of financial strategy and operations.
• Strong commercial judgment, ability to link financial decisions to business performance, and experience raising capital or managing banking relationships.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, with experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure or a similarly regulated sector preferred.
