Communications Director – Latin America

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Communications Director to lead internal and external communications across Latin America for Tetra Pak. Reporting to the Vice President of Market Communications, you will partner with market leadership to support business priorities and enhance the company’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead internal communications, reputation management, public relations and marketing communications across the region.
• Develop and execute an integrated communications plan aligned with global strategy and regional business objectives.
• Manage crisis communications and ensure robust issues and crisis preparedness.
• Provide strategic counsel to Managing Directors and senior leaders, and contribute to the Global Communications Leadership Team.
• Oversee the communications function’s resources, including people, agencies, budgets, tools and data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
• 10–15 years of communications experience, including senior leadership roles in a fast‑paced, international environment.
• Proven ability to translate business priorities into clear communications strategies.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and change‑management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and relevant local languages.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools, including artificial intelligence.
• Experience using Power BI for data visualization.
• Knowledge of marketing automation platforms.
