CSIRT Incident Responder Manager

About the role

Auxis is expanding its security operations team in Bogotá and is looking for a CSIRT Incident Responder Manager. You will orchestrate major incident responses, lead advanced threat hunting and safeguard complex multi-platform environments. This is a leadership role based in Bogotá on a hybrid arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Major Incident Management (MIM) bridges and drive root-cause analysis
• Analyze malware samples and PCAPs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen the security posture
• Lead cross-functional incident bridges, maintain real-time timelines and brief executive and technical stakeholders

Required profile

• 6+ years in cybersecurity, SOC operations or threat hunting, with at least 2+ years in Major Incident Management (MIM) within a 24x7 CSIRT/MSSP or enterprise setup
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity (or equivalent experience)
• Industry certifications such as GCIH, CCFR or CCFH are highly preferred

Required skills

• Hands-on endpoint security incident handling (malware, credential theft, lateral movement)
• Analysis of PCAPs and application of the MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Incident response communication and stakeholder briefing
