Data Analyst - Loyalty Sector

About the role

A detail-oriented, logically minded Data Analyst is sought to join a team in Bogota. The role monitors transactional loyalty data, turns complex business requirements into technical backend configurations, and works closely with business clients to optimise loyalty campaigns. Strong technical-logical thinking and analytical problem solving are the top priority; loyalty domain knowledge is a plus.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor transactional data consistency, member point balances and system calculation accuracy in the database
• Prepare analytical reports on customer activation rates, burn rates, campaign ROI, retention and churn for clients and the Customer Success team
• Act as daily point of contact for clients (in English/Portuguese), explaining rule logic anomalies, resolving incidents and supporting new campaign launches
• Verify data coming from client POS/e-commerce systems into the Customer Loyalty Management (CLM) engine
• Translate business requirements such as promotional mechanics into backend logic and configure rules in the loyalty engine

Required profile

• Ability to deconstruct business mechanics, think algorithmically and turn business needs into precise system rules and logic
• English C1/C2 (fluent); Spanish C1 (advanced); Portuguese C1; daily client communication in Spanish and English
• Loyalty industry experience is welcome but not required; on-the-job training is offered

Required skills

• MS Excel: logical functions, pivot tables and data consistency checks
• BI tools: Power BI, Tableau or Looker for dashboards and KPI visualisation
• Intermediate SQL: JOIN, GROUP BY, aggregations and filtering
• Nice to have: loyalty/CRM/CLM systems, Python or R basics, and analytical certifications
