Data Engineer Manager – AI-driven Governance

About the role

We’re looking for a Data Engineer Manager to lead the design and implementation of advanced data governance and privacy solutions for a high‑impact enterprise initiative. The role balances technical leadership with hands‑on execution, leveraging AI‑driven automation to enforce governance at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of AI‑driven data governance solutions, ensuring automation and scalability across data platforms.
• Build and oversee agent‑based frameworks to enforce data governance, privacy, and compliance automatically.
• Develop solutions in Snowflake and AWS environments, including data masking, obfuscation, and workflow optimization.
• Audit data processes to detect trends, patterns, and anomalies, driving continuous improvement and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to align governance strategies with business and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Governance, or related fields.
• Proven technical leadership or managerial experience with hands‑on involvement.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required skills

• Snowflake (mandatory)
• Deep expertise in Data Governance frameworks and implementation
• AI/ML‑driven or agent‑based governance solutions
• Data masking and privacy techniques using agents
• AWS services: S3, Glue, Lambda, AgentCore
• CoCo and Cortex for intelligent data processing
• SQL and Python for data processing and automation
