About the role
Kyndryl is seeking a Database Administrator to manage and administer the core of its technological infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability of database systems.
Key responsibilities
- Configure, install, and maintain database management systems to keep them running at peak performance.
- Manage user access, set security protocols, and protect data from unauthorized access and external threats.
- Conduct capacity planning and growth projections to ensure scalability.
- Develop backup and recovery plans and support end users and developers with complex database issues.
Required profile
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 implementation and management.
- Hands‑on experience with VMware ESXi.
- Knowledge of public and private cloud management, especially migrations from on‑premise to cloud.
