DataPower Integration Engineer

About the role

ScotiaGBS is looking for an IBM DataPower Developer to design, develop, test, implement, maintain and support enterprise integration services using IBM DataPower Gateway. You will work closely with application development, infrastructure, network and security teams to deliver secure, reliable integration solutions for critical banking applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, maintain and support IBM DataPower integration services in production and non‑production environments.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve production incidents related to DataPower services, API integrations and backend connectivity.
• Develop and configure DataPower Multi‑Protocol Gateway (MPGW), Web Service Proxy (WS‑Proxy), processing policies and related service configurations.
• Develop and troubleshoot XSLT transformations, XML/JSON message processing, routing and error‑handling logic.
• Support secure connectivity using SSL/TLS, mutual TLS (mTLS), digital certificates and DataPower AAA policies.
• Monitor service health, performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve stability and reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years hands‑on designing, developing and supporting IBM DataPower Gateway services.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
