Director, Fleet Procurement

About the role

This role leads the procurement of Enterprise Services under Fleet categories globally for Johnson & Johnson, representing approximately $0.4B in spend. It also oversees end-to-end operations for Fleet management and other key agency-based services to the Enterprise. The position is based in Bogota, Colombia.

Key responsibilities

• Determine global business needs in the categories and devise procurement strategies to advance them
• Identify industry trends to build into category strategies and align with the workforce strategy
• Lead and develop the category team, including global strategy, implementation and key supplier management
• Lead major strategic negotiations for owned categories on behalf of the company
• Coordinate with senior business leaders to ensure alignment with business strategies
• Take part in the Business Services Procurement Leadership Team and shape performance targets across the balanced scorecard
• Own and lead category strategy development and implementation (25%) and key global supplier relationships (20%)
• Attract, retain, develop and motivate the team (25%) and build relationships with key business stakeholders (25%)
• Deliver end-to-end operations for Fleet, including strategy, execution, customer experience and partner management
• Partner with the Global Process Owner for Procurement Managed Services to build a roadmap for future ways of working
• Ad hoc assignments as determined by corporate priorities

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; MBA or higher is desirable
• Minimum 10 years of related experience
• People management experience
• Understanding of AI concepts and frameworks, including responsible and ethical AI, and experience using prompts to boost efficiency
• 10% travel, domestic and international
