Director Payments & Experience Americas

About the role

The Director, Payments & Experience, leads the Regional Global Services Procurement Payments & Experience organisation, ensuring seamless procurement interactions for internal requestors and external partners. Reporting to Global Services, the role aligns finance, procurement and business strategies across the Americas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of individual contributors, supervisors and managers, managing performance and career growth.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Payments (invoice‑to‑payment) and Experience functions, including workflow, compliance and service‑level delivery.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, tax, legal and company policies.
• Collaborate with finance, procurement and other departments to design and execute strategies that improve profitability and competitive positioning.
• Drive continuous improvement in user experience, efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging market intelligence and risk assessments.
• Support the development and implementation of automation and artificial‑intelligence initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing finance or procurement teams.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that enhance profitability.
• Experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders to improve processes.
• Track record of implementing automation or AI solutions in finance operations.
