Finance & Accounting Supervisor – Legal Entity Accounting

About the role

The Finance & Accounting Supervisor will lead statutory accounting, local financial reporting, and audit activities for a portfolio of legal entities in Colombia. Reporting to Global Services Finance, the role ensures timely preparation of statutory statements, compliance with local regulations, and alignment with corporate accounting policies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead statutory accounting and financial reporting for assigned legal entities.
• Review, approve, and ensure compliance of statutory financial statements with Local GAAP, IFRS, and corporate requirements.
• Manage external statutory audits, design audit plans, and serve as primary contact for auditors.
• Ensure SOX compliance, internal controls, and corporate governance standards.
• Monitor and mitigate accounting and compliance risks.
• Build strong partnerships with Tax, Compliance, Global Services Finance, and Business Finance teams.
• Act as trusted advisor on statutory accounting and regulatory matters.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in statutory accounting and financial reporting.
• Proven track record managing external audits and ensuring SOX compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Local GAAP, IFRS, and corporate reporting standards.
• Demonstrated leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
