Finance Shared Service Specialist

About the role

As a Finance Shared Service Specialist you will support Record‑to‑Report (RTR) operations across multiple financial processes in a multinational Shared Services environment, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Post journal entries provided by Local Finance teams and execute month‑end closing activities, including accruals, revenue recognition, fixed assets and intercompany processes.
• Prepare balance‑sheet reconciliations, follow up on open items and verify transaction accuracy.
• Analyze financial information, prepare reports and ensure compliance with accounting principles, internal policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimise processes, strengthen controls and implement best practices.
• Act as a key point of contact for Local Finance, AR, AP and Consolidation teams, supporting internal and external audits.
• Participate in process‑improvement initiatives, SSC projects and maintain team manuals and process documentation.
• Provide support to the RTR Lead to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in General Accounting, preferably within a Shared Services Center.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and RTR processes.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and mentor junior team members.
• Intermediate English level or above, spoken and written.
