Financial Accounting Specialist

About the role

adidas is seeking a Financial Accounting Specialist in Bogota to support effective financial operations. The role involves executing accounting processes, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, consolidating financial data, and providing analysis for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor accounting activities, support month‑end and year‑end closing, and ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts, produce standard reports, and contribute to monthly business reviews with variance analysis.
• Perform detailed financial analysis on performance trends, costs, and profitability, and create dashboards to track key KPIs.
• Support daily cash monitoring, cash flow forecasting, and cash reconciliations while adhering to internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience with solid understanding of IFRS.
• Intermediate English proficiency (B1/B2).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with financial systems.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
