Financial Planning & Analysis Manager – Expense

About the role

The FP&A Manager – Expense will lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting for Mastercard's Services business. You will drive expense forecasting, build financial models and provide insights that shape strategy and improve business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the expense forecasting and budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
• Develop financial models and reporting solutions using automation tools such as Power Automate, Alteryx, and Power BI.
• Design, develop, and maintain global personnel expense forecasting models covering headcount, compensation, benefits, and bonuses.
• Create standardized personnel expense reports and executive dashboards that highlight workforce trends and financial impacts.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, explaining key drivers and variances.
• Support strategy and process‑improvement initiatives by building analytical tools and providing actionable recommendations.
• Communicate with stakeholders across regions to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective change management.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading expense planning and budgeting in a large, global organization.
• Strong financial modeling capabilities and ability to translate data into clear business insights.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings to senior leadership and diverse stakeholder groups.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change, foster innovation, and promote continuous improvement.
• Experience supporting finance business partners across multiple regions and functions.
