About the role
As the lead of finance for Colombia and Panama you will be reporting to the Finance Director of Latam and support the existing finance and FP&A functions of the company. You will provide support to the finance team’s efforts in managing and servicing existing debt investors. This role requires strong analytical and forecasting skills to ensure healthy financial planning and operations control.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with the Finance Director of Latam to support ongoing and ad‑hoc analysis and modeling, maintaining direct contact with the US FP&A team.
- Develop top‑down and bottom‑up financial models for budgeting, forecasting, company health, and pricing evaluation, and provide periodic KPI reporting to headquarters.
- Collaborate with the regional General Manager in Colombia and Panama to model the value of future partnership opportunities.
- Support company‑wide budgeting processes, including monthly budget vs. actuals analysis of operating and non‑operating cash flows.
- Run distribution calculations for principal and interest across multiple debt facilities.
- Create local dashboards delivering real‑time insight into KPIs and other financial metrics.
- Gather financial information with the accounting team and assist in reconciling Local GAAP versus US GAAP.
- Assist accounting in audit processes, validate taxes paid, and support operations in merchant payments and transaction reconciliation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in finance roles.
- Experience with Colombian and Panamanian markets and regulations.
- Problem‑solving and analytical skills with excellent Excel modeling ability.
- Professional proficiency in English.
