General Accounting Manager

About the role

UPS is looking for a strategic, results-oriented leader to oversee its Finance, Compliance, Organizational Development and Health & Safety functions. This executive role drives sustainable business growth, ensures regulatory compliance, strengthens organizational effectiveness and supports strategic decisions, working closely with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial planning and long-term growth initiatives.
• Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in line with statutory, regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Provide executives with insights on financial performance, trends, risks and growth opportunities.
• Build compliance programs, internal controls, governance frameworks and enterprise risk management practices.
• Drive organizational development: leadership development, succession planning, workforce planning, engagement and performance improvement.
• Oversee Health & Safety programs and compliance with local regulations.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders on performance metrics, resource optimization and strategic priorities.
• Promote innovation through technology, automation, AI and advanced analytics.
• Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and a Certified Public Accountant with a valid professional license.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting processes involving intercompany transactions.
• Experience in senior leadership roles overseeing finance, compliance and business operations.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading organizational transformation, change management and talent development.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Advanced English proficiency; 100% on-site work.
