Global Finance Leader – Surgical Vision (CFM)

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Global Finance Leader for its Surgical Vision business. Based in Bogotá, the role supports the Country Finance Manager service delivery model and acts as the Controllership authority for US GAAP financial results across 21 market reporting centers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate month‑end close activities, own monthly sales, trial balance, income statement and balance sheet reviews, and ensure accurate, timely external reporting.
• Maintain SOX compliance, support internal and external audits, and drive standardisation and process improvement across markets using digital tools.
• Act as a strategic finance advisor to business units, providing insights for planning, forecasting, M&A and other strategic projects.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing finance team in Latin America, champion DE&I initiatives and foster a culture of curiosity and accountability.

Required profile

• 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including shared services and commercial finance, with at least 3 years of people‑management experience.
• Strong ability to lead through influence in matrixed, multicultural environments and communicate fluently in English and Spanish (Portuguese a plus).
• Proven track record of delivering process improvements and navigating complex, changing environments.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using SAP, CFIN and AFO financial systems.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, SOX compliance and external financial reporting.
