HR Generalist – Colombia (On‑site in Medellín)

About the role

The HR Generalist will support an assigned client account in Colombia, acting as the main point of contact for employees and the client on all HR matters. The role covers employee administration, payroll, labor compliance, onboarding, off‑boarding and overall employee experience, under the supervision of the HR Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files and HR databases.
• Prepare employment‑related documentation such as certifications, salary verification letters and HR correspondence.
• Respond to employee inquiries promptly and provide service‑oriented support.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics, corporate orientation and client‑led training.
• Manage off‑boarding processes in line with Colombian labor law, including documentation, equipment recovery and system de‑activation.
• Collect, validate and review payroll inputs; resolve payroll and benefits inquiries.
• Administer employee benefits, track vacation, sick leave and other absences.
• Support client on labor‑compliance issues and ensure HR processes meet local regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR administration, payroll processing and employee lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Colombian labor legislation and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple employee requests.
• Effective communication skills in Spanish and English.
