HR Operations and Compliance Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Operations and Compliance Coordinator to own our delivery service company’s onboarding and hiring processes. This remote, full‑time position will manage the end‑to‑end hiring pipeline for Delivery Associates, ensuring every candidate meets compliance standards before activation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete onboarding workflow from application to activation, including background checks, drug testing, document collection, system registration, and training scheduling.
• Maintain a steady pipeline of qualified candidates, coordinate interviews, track progress, and address bottlenecks.
• Ensure all onboarding data is accurate, monitor compliance updates, and prevent delays or rejections.
• Handle workers’ compensation claims, terminations, and related documentation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding communications, coordinating with operations, dispatch, and management teams.
• Produce weekly employee schedules, monitor attendance, call‑outs, safety incidents, and prepare audit documentation.
• Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements, working independently without constant supervision.
