Human Resources Generalist

About the role

China Three Gorges Latam, a global renewable energy company operating projects across Latin America, is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join its growing multicultural team in Bogota. The role provides comprehensive support for the HR section's policies, programs, activities and procedures, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with the organization's mission and strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Cultivate corporate culture through initiatives that bridge cultural differences between Latin American and Chinese teams, and run programs that improve employee engagement, collaboration and satisfaction
• Ensure hiring and dismissal procedures meet labour compliance; maintain employee files offline and in SAP SF; lead internal HR audits; draft HR policies compliant with local regulations
• Manage staffing and recruiting: write or adapt job descriptions, keep the org structure in SAP, run full recruitment processes with stakeholders and agencies, and handle onboarding including compliance and medical screening
• Supervise the monthly payroll calendar, collect and enter payroll data, verify and approve payments (payroll is outsourced), and manage payroll and social security files
• Act as a point of contact for employees on HR matters such as payroll, policies and SAP SF, and provide HR and relocation assistance to expatriates
• Run local performance management (goal setting, appraisals, development plans) and design training materials for HR programs

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Engineering or a related field
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• B2/C1 English level (mandatory)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, and strong organizational and time management skills

Required skills

• Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors (SF) or other HRIS systems is preferred
• 100% on-site position in Bogota, Chapinero
