Inbound Appointment Setter (Remote)

About the role

A client of South is looking for an Inbound Appointment Setter to act as the first point of contact for homeowners interested in its services. This is a remote, customer-facing role focused on responding to inbound leads, understanding their needs, answering initial questions and scheduling qualified prospects for an onsite appointment with the sales team. It is not a cold-calling or outbound prospecting role; most interaction takes place by text through the company's CRM, with occasional phone calls.

Key responsibilities

• Respond quickly to new inbound inquiries and communicate mainly by text, with occasional phone calls.
• Ask questions to understand each prospect's needs and judge whether they are a good fit.
• Provide basic information about the company's services and process.
• Schedule qualified prospects for onsite appointments with the sales team and follow up to confirm them.
• Keep lead information and conversation details accurate and up to date in the CRM.
• Follow established scripts and qualification processes while keeping conversations natural and customer-friendly.
• Route additional questions to the right team member and occasionally help close straightforward opportunities by messaging or phone.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken English, with strong written communication skills.
• Previous experience in appointment setting, sales, customer service, lead qualification, inside sales, SDR or a similar customer-facing role.
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Availability during the required core working hours.
• Nice to have: experience with US-based customers, managing inbound leads, home services/construction/real estate experience, and Portuguese.

Required skills

• Comfortable using or learning CRM platforms.
• Ability to follow scripts and established processes.

Candidates must live in Latin America and submit their CV in English; a short Loom video presentation is optional but gives priority. Training on the qualification process, scripts and services is provided, and previous experience in the pool or construction industry is not required.
