Intermediate Billing Associate

About the role

UPS is hiring one Intermediate Billing Associate in Medellin. The position processes charge adjustments, creates and distributes reports, audits and prepares adjustments and carries out research as needed. It requires meticulous attention to detail and follows the billing Matrix process in the proper order. The schedule is Monday to Thursday 6:30am-3:30pm and Friday 6:30am-3:00pm.

Key responsibilities

• Review and prepare internal paperwork for sending charges to other countries
• Communicate with internal stakeholders for clarifications on worldwide freight (WWF)
• Analyze billing-related information and ensure proper support documentation is included
• Create and process international manual billing entries
• Add and maintain customer account information and requirements in various billing systems

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in administrative careers or related fields; accounting, finance or similar technical, technological or professional degrees preferred
• Previous billing experience preferred
• English knowledge preferred (about 60% of the role); practical knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook required
• Experience in billing, accounting or related areas is not required
• Candidates must live in Medellin or the Aburrá Valley metropolitan area; the position is hybrid
