About the role
This position is part of UPS Global Business Services in Medellín, focusing on collections for a variety of customers. The role aims to improve cash flow, reduce delinquencies, and limit bad‑debt exposure while providing excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries within defined service‑level agreements and provide high‑quality service.
- Identify, prioritize, and resolve complex payment issues that delay collections.
- Develop, create, and analyze collection and accounts‑receivable reports.
- Monitor and maintain assigned customer accounts, updating stakeholder information in multiple software systems.
- Submit recommendations for writing off account balances.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent, preferably in Business or a related field.
- Prior collections experience with strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
- Basic negotiation skills and experience handling objections.
- Conversational English proficiency.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
