Intermediate Software Engineer (MuleSoft Integration)

About the role

Dev.Pro is looking for an Intermediate Software Engineer to join its remote‑first team supporting a large payroll and HR platform. You will work on integration projects, maintain existing services, and help migrate integrations to MuleSoft.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrations between the platform and third‑party systems.
• Analyze technical documentation and implement integration solutions.
• Support existing .NET and Node.js applications by troubleshooting production issues.
• Assist in migrating current integrations to MuleSoft.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and client stakeholders to deliver projects.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and development planning.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and adopt new tools and technologies.
• Communicate progress, blockers, and status updates proactively.

Required profile

• 2+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming.
• Experience building APIs, integrations, or backend services.
• Ability to read and understand existing Node.js code.
• Interest in MuleSoft demonstrated through coursework, certifications, or personal projects.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB.
• Upper‑Intermediate English proficiency.
• Desirable: experience with .NET, familiarity with AWS or Azure, and use of AI tools in development.
